Borrowing players

Postby LynneDuchock on Tue Apr 13, 2010 10:36 pm

I want some clarification about borrowing players. When can a team borrow, and who can they borrow? I was put into a situation that tied my hands yesterday and then had to hear about it all night at the park "She was scared of a ten year old". Real freaking mature.

What my understanding is that we can borrow to make 9, but not borrow to make 10. I thought they had to come off the approved draft list.

Yes that is true can borrow to make 9 not 10. I was going on the assumption that it was needed to make 9 My fault I didn't ask. I know in this age group sometimes it hard to find a player so i told this team I didn't have a problem with her playing as long as they had no problem with their kid playing up in this league. As for anyone saying that you was afraid of a 10 yr old I thought it was meant as a joke not being actually said to you as being mean or said at all , but again that was poor judgement on my part not to clarify this situation better.

On borrowing a player you can borrow a player equal to the player you are missing as listed on the Draft forms all coaches filled out or you can borrow from a league below if ok by parents and either a League director , Commissioner or President

That's ok, Jamie. I didn't have a problem with her playing if they needed her. When they borrowed that player, it made them have 11. I just wanted clarification. Thanks!
